Future Energy Event in Chale goes down a storm
In spite of the blustery weather this weekend, there was a good turnout when The Footprint Trust hosted one of its popular Future Energy Events in Chale – at the Wight Mouse Inn.
The event was held in response to the large number of enquiries about renewable energy options that have been received by the project team since solar PVs started appearing on roofs in Chale as part of the Chale Community Project.
Over 200 visitors had the opportunity to quiz different suppliers of renewable energy systems about the offers currently available. One visitor who lives in Chale commented: “I have been interested in possibly gettings solar PVs for my home for a while now, but have been overwhelmed by the seemingly endless range of offers out there. Thanks to this event, I now have a much better understanding of what is available.”
